Puffin Burrow
The Puffin Burrow is a roll-entry seatpack for saddles with bag loops. Made from hardwearing, water-resistant 1000-denier cordura with a ripstop lining and twin internal organiser pockets.
As a bag it's very stable under the saddle and can expand or cinch down to accommodate loads of varying sizes. It's ideal for packing along a jacket, flask, and sandwiches on long day rides, or for jamming in some lightweight camping gear for feather-weight overnighters.
It is available in two colours, sand and olive green, and two sizes - 7 litres and 9 litres. Dimensions are about 18cm deep and 28cm (7l) or 32cm (9l) wide (sizes/dimensions are approximate due to the soft, compressible nature of the bag).
Background
The design of the Puffin Burrow came about simply because I wanted a lightweight saddlebag large enough for a flask, sandwiches, raingear, and perhaps a camera for example, that didn't require a bag support and that wasn't a "wagging wedge" style of seatpack. Originally just for myself, the prototype was on my bike for the Rough Stuff Fellowship (rsf.org.uk) Wayfarer Centenary ride in March 2019 - a number of folk wanted to know how they could get one, and hence ChoughStuff was born. As an aside, the logo, thanks to my talented sister at Ayr Studio, is a representation of the Cornish Chough, a bird that is historically and culturally important to Cornwall.
Two things stood out:
- How stable it is. I’ve had a lot of bags (too many) and anything that dangles or flaps about drives me mad. The burrow is just super sturdy.
- How much you can get in it. The compressible nature of it makes it pretty tardis like inside and a real delight to pack.

Bags are made to order with a lead time usually of 2-3 weeks.

Absolutely stoked with it, I genuinely think you've got something pretty unique with this. really pleased, it's like a tardis in there, so easy to set up on the bike, and most importantly looks awesome.
